The evil will bow down before the good, And the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

Proverbs 14:19

In the current global climate, we see much injustice. However, what makes it so much harder to be a Christian is that so much of the injustice we encounter is done in the name of justice. This divides our societies and even families.

But, also as Christians, we have hope that one day God’s justice will come. The rest of the world doesn’t share this hope, so we are seeing a rise in those diagnosed with anxiety or depression.

The best thing we can do is to continue to share our hope with the world like someone throwing a life preserver into a sea of injustice and chaos and pray that those lost in the tumult would look up and grab onto it.

Self-reflection

How am I guilty of passing through life doing nothing to show the hope and joy I have in Christ?

Prayer

Father, please help me to be heavenly-minded so that I may be of earthly good. Amen.
